Friday 1st August - The Balladeers & Espionage of The Loc
	The Balladeers are a new and original Glasgow based psychedelic rock band, who played their first gig in March 2008. Previously known as The Passengers; they've been playing around Scotland for the last 3/4 years, developing their sound and building up a local following. Towards the end of last year, their song Down And Alone was played on Hew Stephens' Radio 1 show, but only learned of it after, by a comment dropped on their site, but the podcast was heard later so it did happen. The music is rooted in blues, bringing in strong influences from classical, psychedelic, folk, and eastern music, all contributing the band's own style, for which has been coined the term... medieval rock. more info: www.myspace.com/theballadeersrock

Friday 15th August - Ten Storeys High
	In early 2005, after a brief spell in self-denial, Callum and Steve realised they missed singing and strumming and decided to write half a dozen short, direct, acoustic songs suitable for playing in the corners of darkened bars. A series of small gigs went down a storm and the need for more ego-inflation quickly followed along with the desire to write more songs and play in an acoustic-fuelled band. In July 2006 Colin was persuaded to pick up his sticks and electricity was rediscovered in Jan 2007 through Ewan on bass to complete the line-up of TEN STOREYS HIGH. more info www.myspace.com/tenstoreyshigh

Friday 29th August - The May Days
	The Maydays, formed by a group of long-term mates and following a series of drunken sessions, began writing songs. Since then most of their spare time has been spent in an old storeroom/workshop playing recording and drinking. 	The MUSIC could no more be boxed in than the man himself. Growing up in Belmont, a small town on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC, Chris Cook was surrounded by music from day one. As a singer-songwriter and multi-dimensional musician, he knows what he likes and what suits his needs.
While comfortable playing country or rock, Chris also has a fondness for a classic R&B groove, the catchy beat of Pop, or the "from-the-gut soulfulness" of the Blues. 	Tiny Tin Lady have been together since 2004 and, in just three short years, have become one of the most talked about bands on the acoustic scene, stunning audiences everywhere with their blend of brilliant, original songs, superb musicianship and spine-tingling harmonies.
Bandleader, Danni Gibbins, at just 21, has drawn praise from such great songwriters as Ralph McTell and Richard Thomson for her work and is being tipped to become a major songwriter. Her guitar work is brilliant, a percussive and complex style reminiscent of Davy Graham or Bert Jansch, driving and exciting in its’ intensity. Friday 31st Oct Darren Nauendorf
	Determined to make something of his music career, five years ago Derrin Nauendorf arrived atHeathrow airport from Australia with a guitar, £1200 and several extra layers of clothing to acclimatise to the drop in temperature. From this, Derrin spent those next five years playing anywhere that would have him, sleeping on floors and living on tuna baguettes. Things looked up a few years ago when he purchased an old Post Office van, which then became his home for the next six months, more importantly, it allowed him to get gigs, and essentially his music, out into the real depths of the UK. They've looked up and haven't looked back yet.
